Three ways to raise your pulse: from 760 metres up, from nine metres down and from the surface of the water. All with an instructor, none needing experience.

Paragliding, diving or kayaking: which to choose?
Paragliding is the shortest and most dramatic of the three: a tandem flight with a pilot over Budva and Sveti Stefan, from €87. Diving means a first dive with an instructor, no certificate needed, from €69. Kayaking and SUP, from €45, is the gentlest option: calm morning water in the coves around Budva after a briefing on the beach.
None of the three needs any experience — an instructor or pilot is with you throughout. Photos and video of your paragliding flight usually cost extra, €5–15.
When to go: sea temperature and wind
The sea off Budva warms to 22–24°C in June and holds at 25–26°C through July and August; in September it is still 23–25°C. Those are the best months for diving and paddling. Paragliding depends on the wind and flights are postponed when it blows hard, so don't leave it for the last day of your holiday.
